I'm Happy You Came

Shrouded with the acceptance of this curse
Don't force the darkness, trust me, I've seen the worst
I won't lie, it did really hurt, quite a lot actually
but the past is the past
and it went for as long as it would last

In this life, we'll feel a lot of pain
We'll survive a lot rain
We'll excuse a lot shame
Have a spirit in our veins of those
Feelings we can't explain
Words fall from our caves
Some will leave, some will remain
We'll have people forever stained
within the confides of our hearts and mind
I'm so happy you came

And this is when I thank you for, everything
I've accepted that you've moved on
And I plan to do the same
Sweet and heavenly memories
I plan to grip till the end
I'm glad, to say what we had
was spectacular in its own divine way
So I'll toast and pour the champagne
I'm so, happy you came

There are some hidden characteristics
That you walked in and willingly fixed
Such a belated sense of joy
That you resurrected from this boy
We've been past, all the yelling and blaming
and the dwelling and the aiming
I'm gratifying all you've helped me mend
and now, here we are sitting,
at your midnight wedding party,
and you just met my new girlfriend

You came smile, its alright
We can laugh and take a walk
We jump past the hidden roses and
the gravely bedrock
to come to a small and sparkling bridge
one that has lost its former rustic image
We can congratulate each other for what we have became
And I'll always remain appreciative of your tender giving
I'm going to be thankful that you came
